A critical failure is when half or more of the dice you roll land on 1. In this case, you count all your 1s, reroll all dice on 1, and count those as well. Subtract this value from the number of successes you rolled. If this would reduce your successes to 0 or below, you have critically failed. The GM determines the degree of failure by the negative value of your successes, resulting between a minor inconvenience (0, -1) to a major setback (-3 or more). You may reduce this negative value by spending a Drive point (see Drive).
